Mabel’s Labels Monday – Binders and Notebooks
I am a stationary fiend! I love anything paper related. There was nothing as exciting as a child as opening a fresh new notebook at the beginning of the school year. I carried this love into adulthood. Still enjoy jotting blog post ideas onto a clean lined page. It’s part of the reason why I started incorporating printable check lists into Pardon My Poppet as well. Why not give your child a set Skinny Mini Sticky Labels at the beginning of the new school term. They can use it to label their binders, or even their notebooks. Just an added touch to remind them of how special they are to you throughout the year!

Mabel’s Labels Monday & La Leche League Canada
Now to combine two of my absolutely favourite things: Mabel’s Labels and La Leche League Canada!
If I can at all help it, I go to the local Guelph La Leche League every month. and if the evening meeting was not on Friday nights I’d go to that too! I can’t get enough. I’m convinced that even when Poppet weans I will continue to go, as it is such a valuable resource in the community! How might Mabel’s Labels fit into a La Leche League meeting you may ask?
Every time I go, I’m amazed at how quickly the kids toys are passed around. Often there is more than one of the same toy in the room. By the time I get all mine gathered up, inadvertently I will either have forgotten one, or taken another that is not mine home. As I don’t remove the tags from Poppet’s toys (she loves them almost as much as the actual toy), it is the perfect place to quickly put a Tag Mate. That way I’m always assured to get her toy returned to us! If the toy does not have a tag I can easily use a Skinny Mini sticky label too! Mabel’s Labels truly are super practical!

Mabel’s Labels Monday: Skinny Mini Sticky Labels – Unique Gift Idea for Waitresses, Teachers, even Car Salesmen!
I am a pen stealer. Hey, the first step is admitting it, alright? It is sad, but true. For as long as I can remember I have inadvertently gathered pens from every hotel room, hotel lobby, business, school I can think of. I even try to get one from the dealership when I buy a new vehicle. One of my favourites was one my Dad got before he retired from the police force that said “Stolen from the office of Mayor Mel Lastman”. I really miss that pen. If I had Mabel’s Labels then I would probably still have it!

Mabel’s Labels Mondays – Bookplates
Because it’s my anniversary I’m feeling especially generous. So today I’m sharing my ABSOLUTE favourite way to use Mabel’s Labels products.
Poppet loves books. We started collecting them for her before she was even born. We especially love the “Little Golden Book” series with their gold foil spines. Inside each cover is a little place that says “This Book Belongs To” in beautiful script. I LOVE using Skinny Minis Sticky Labels to fill in the blank. It is just a pretty as the script and Poppet never loses her books! (Also extremely useful for my HUGE collection of vintage and new cook books, history books, home-making books, etc) Me thinks Hubby needs some for his vast stockpiles too!
