
Seriously, doesn’t that pic just make you want to run to the store and pick up some Cavendish From the Farm Potato Wedges yourself? It certainly makes me want to stock up again! The blend of creamy cheese and salty tuna are a perfect pairing for Cavendish PEI potatoes!
Trying to find quick and healthy ingredients to serve our family is not an easy task these days. I was truly impressed by the quality of Cavendish potatoes! They did not at all taste like traditional freezer fries! I loved the fresh taste of the ingredients they use! Only a few ingredients on the labels, including sea salt, and the skins still on each perfect spud spear made for a perfect oven fry! One taste and I just knew that my famous tuna salad would be sumptuous on these tasty taters!
Here’s a video for those of you who hate to read a recipe. For those of us more traditional types, the recipe follows below and can be saved directly to your ZipList recipe box.
What You Need:
1/2 package Cavendish From the Farm Potato Wedges
1 tin flaked light tuna, drained
1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon old fashioned prepared mustard (grainy)
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1 stalk celery, diced
2 ounces old cheddar cheese, crumbled
2 Tablespoons Panko bread crumbs
What You Do With the Stuff:
- Bake wedges according to package directions.
- Mix together tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery seed and celery.
- Spread over baked wedges.
- Top with cheese and bread crumbs.
- Place under broiler until cheese is bubbly and crumbs are browned.
