It’s no secret that we’re expecting another baby around these parts! And the time is ticking by quickly! I started to panic, just a wee bit, when I realized the other day that there was only 3 months left until this wee one arrives! 3 MONTHS! I am nowhere near ready!
We are having a second girl, which really does make life a little easier. Most clothes can be re-used (although they will have been born in different seasons, so not everything will fit the second at the right time of year). We also were given a convertible crib when Poppet was born. This is great, except for the fact that she still sleeps in it as her toddler bed. Just realized we need to figure out sleeping arrangements for “The Sequel”. Then there’s all the things that I never knew would be so useful until Poppet started to grow, and I know I’ll need to purchase more of in the future. Rather than be completely overwhelmed, I decided to head to the Sears Baby’s Room and get some help, pronto!
Off to The Baby’s Room We Go!
Monica was great! Sears Baby’s Room provides such a great service for baby registries! They provided me with a consultant who walked me through the Baby’s Room, pointing out all the different sections and suggesting some items I didn’t even know existed. Like an awesome stainless steel cup that converts from a baby bottle to sippy cup! Next, Monica asked all about my colours and nursery decor. She helped me set up my registry on their system, handed me a scanner, and let me loose! When I was done she provided me with a welcome package, including samples, magazines, a registry essentials checklist, registry cards to pass on to friends and family, and a copy of my completed registry! The whole process was super fast, and super simple! It really was the best of both worlds, the freedom to tackle it on my own, with the convenience of a knowledgeable consultant to guide me where I needed it!
Oh, and did I mention that there are a couple of contests going on right now? I actually have the chance to win the value of the items bought on my registry with Sears Baby’s Room’s Waiting Game – where I try to predict what my delivery date will be. How fun! The latest winner received over $3000 to spend back in the Sears Baby’s Room!
And for the super sleuth in all of us, Sears Baby’s Room has just been awarded the PTPA Seal of Approval, and if you spot the seal in the store simply snap a picture of you with it and tweet it with the #SpotTheSeal hashtag and tag @PTPA to be entered to win an awesome prize pack consisting of:
