One of my favourite places to walk into is a Snuggle Bugz store. Their Milton location was opening when I was expecting Poppet, and ever since their doors opened I’ve been seriously hooked! When I was asked to take a peek at their online site, I was seriously excited! You’ll remember, that Snuggle Bugz is the official baby store for Shop.ca, but you can still order from them directly too. Snuggle Bugz is a Canadian owned & operated company run by a couple who have 3 kids of their own, so really know about parenting, what products work and what parents need!
The biggest thing that jumped out from the start, was how much Snuggle Bugz is focussed on making this the ultimate shopping experience for their customers. No detail is overlooked. Let me give you a few examples of where they excel.
Selection. I used to think that Snuggle Bugz was just a baby store, and if you thought so too, you couldn’t be more mistaken! They carry all the biggest names in all things Baby, but they also have a large selection of items perfect for those who have moved beyond the toddler stage! I browsed a bit, and settled on an amazing Skip Hop Kitty backpack – perfect for this first day of school. Choosing which style to get was surprisingly, a crazy hard decision to make – they were just all so cute! Right away, I could see it was out of stock, but there was a date to let me know when to expect it. I really had my (err, Poppet’s) heart set on this one, and so in the cart it went.
Easy. Checking out couldn’t have been easier. I had a coupon code, and had no issues using it. This is where we come to the next GREAT thing about Snuggle Bugz……
Shipping. Okay, if you live in Canada, you no doubt know how crazy it is to have something, anything, shipped to you. Even if you are ordering from a Canadian company, the rates are ridiculous! Snuggle Bugz shipping rates were completely reasonable and sane. THANK YOU!!
I entered all my info, and voila, checkout complete! Then my e-mail notification went off.
Thinking For Me So I Don’t Have To. Expecting just to see a confirmation of my order, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my e-mail to find a note, letting me know my item was out of stock, and a more specific timeframe as to when to expect it. Also, I was given the option of keeping my order the same, choosing another item, or refunding my order. I really like that they’ve thought of everything. It’s probably from having lots of us with baby brain trying to place orders and overlooking the little details. This Mummy was totally appreciative for the reminder!
If you live in the GTA area, you really should take a wander into their Burlington or Milton locations and see what’s in store. If you are a little further afield, don’t be afraid of jumping online. If you’re one of the few who have never placed an online order (come on, I know you’re out there!), Snuggle Bugz is the place to start in opening the door to a whole new world of online freedom!
