When you think of the transition to toddlerhood, it is full of lots of firsts. Among those is the absolute joy of watching baby with her first foods. For generations, parents have trusted Cheerios to be among those firsts, and for good reason. Cheerios is fun to eat, fun to explore, and full of wholesome goodness!
I remember the first time Poppet experienced Cheerios for herself. She was a young toddler, and she had never tasted any cereal product. I poured her a wee bowl, even gave her milk (okay, so I made sure we were out on the back porch, but I wanted her to have the whole experience with all its newness!) She plopped her spoon up and down, and squealed in delight as the little o’s popped their way back to the surface! I don’t know who was enjoying it more, her, or me watching her!
Then she picked up one between her wee fingers, and in it went. The crunch got her from the start. It was love at first bite, and Cheerios has become a staple in our home ever since! I’ve even caught her in the middle of the kitchen floor, surrounded by little o’s, with her wee little hand shoved to the bottom of the box, pulling fistfuls of wholesomeness out and popping them into her mouth! I love that she loves Cheerios!
