History, Infographic, Weddings

Other than the first point about how long weddings have been around, this was an interesting infographic on the history, cost, and current state of weddings!  I never realized that there were still cultures where it was common to pay a bride price!

Liz… this was just too cool! Loved the trivia. A Stadium… can you just imagine receiving a Stadium as a wedding gift?!!? What to do with it? ;) Guess it’s not a gift you would get two of, now is it? LOL! Grace, peace and blessings, Carla.

that is hilarious that a wedding where the bride wore make-up was invalid. good thing that’s not still a law!

One of the oldest and most beautiful homes in our neighboring city was given to the groom by a bride’s family.

Today, it’s all about the ring, or so it seems. I have stories to go w/it, but they’re not very nice, and about people I love, so I will refrain. :)
