The one place that most women like to relax, especially when they have children at home is in the bathroom. There’s a lock on the door, the possibility of warm bubbly water and free time away from little requests can be truly inviting. Most bathrooms, however, leave much to be desired. But you can do a lot to make your little space feel like a true luxury escape.
All you need to do is add a few personal touches. A book reading rack for the bath tub, perhaps updating your bathroom hardware, or a simply a beautiful soap dispenser, all add to the peace this haven should be! Fluffy towels and a few candles never hurt either! Keep your colour scheme simple if you like a modern look, or add some pattern for retro, even some floral for a lush victorian feel. There is always something you can do to make the space your own!

Right now I’m in love with bathroom– we live in my husband childhood home so we’re doing a lot of renovations but the bathroom was on of our first task!

oh how nice –I’ve tried this once in a while ,but its always uninterrupted by “MOM!!!!!!!!!!” One thing you can avoid being at a real spa =)

Man, my wife tried to do this kind of thing once and it didn’t work! It wasn’t that it didn’t look awesome for about a day, it was that once our kids went in there, well, that was pretty much the end of the spa bathroom :-) I think she’ll try again when they get older, lol.
