Such a beautiful and powerful article. I can tell in my child’s behaviors that they can sense the differing emotions in mommy. When Daddy deployed, even though they were too young to understand what was going on, they sense the emotions in mommy and reacted accordingly. It is very important we realize what we do has a huge impact on our kids. If we want those “great kids” that everyone envies, we have to be sure we are available to help them become kids of such nature.
