What you’ll need:

19 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 Tablespoon olive oil
3/4 teaspoon cumin
2 cloves of garlic, minced
salt to taste

What you do with the stuff:

Mix all ingredients together in a food processor. Puree for about a minute, scraping down sides of bowl once.

To serve, spoon into a dish. Drizzle over some olive oil and sprinkle with cumin. Enjoy!

Secret? I’ve never even tried hummus! Please don’t tell! But, your recipe looks good, maybe I will try it out, see what all of the fuss is about! Thx for sharing!

I love hummus. I buy it every time I go to the grocery store! I eat it with veggies, on my sandwiches… Love it! I’m going to make this on Friday so I can have it over the weekend. Yummy!!!!

That sounds yummy – I’ve made hummus before, but not with yoghurt in it, but it looks nice and smooth and creamy so will have to try!
    Thanks for sharing your recipe,
    Kristina :)

This looks so good! I am allergic to dairy, but would love to make this. Is there a good substitute for the yogurt?

You can just use water to the desired consistency. Enjoy!

This is exactly the way my MIL makes hers for the store. I could live on hummus…I really should make my own.
