Ha! I completely agree with your husband. I cannot rationalize taking 20-40 minutes out of my day, every day to shower, dry my hair.. I shoot for 3 a week – sometimes 2. And, if my only option is an evening shower, I’ll pass. :-)

Showers are a luxury here too! My hubby leaves for work super early, and I am NOT a morning person, do it is pretty rare for me to get a morning shower (which is when I prefer to have them). He gets a daily shower, I am usually every few days, and often in the evening. Nothing like going to bed with wet hair…-almost defeats the purpose of washing it! Lol

I don’t like wearing a ball cap because my hair is tapered in the back. So none of it stick out of a hat to look good. So wearing a cap doesn’t make me feel pretty or girlie. So I gotta do the whole shabang. I gotta have that shower no matter what. Night sweats :-( which by the way aren’t good for get up a go hair either.

I have this debate – with *myself* – every day. This time of year in humid/hot Florida, taking a shower in the morning is pointless. So, I’m always in a hat. Mascara and some lip gloss can give the appearance that I didn’t JUST fall out of bed, so that helps. But I go to sleep freshly showered with nice, clean hair – that no one sees. Ha.

I’m lucky if I get a shower in the morning. I take a shower before bed and that’s it. With three little ones have me up super early and showers are a major luxury around here.
