Poppet’s Pick Blogs for the Week of May 7th, 2012

I love reading new blogs!  You must too if you’re here on a regular basis!  Often I’m introduced to topics I want to share with you, our readers, but don’t have the time to stay on top of it.  And you know what they say, out of sight, out of mind (especially for the mum of a toddler)!  This is the first installment of a new weekly feature on Pardon My Poppet.  We already tell you about our exceptional finds in Poppet’s Picks, and we’re extending it to the blogging world.

Food:

Carrie’s Sweet Life is insanely yummy!!!!  I don’t know where all her recipes come from, but the pics alone are enough to make a grown man drool.  Don’t believe me?  Take a peek at her Coconut Key Lime Bread!

Family:

I love stopping by The Bad Mom’s Club because, well….err, they just make me feel like less of a bad mom!

Home:

Well, I WANT to be organized, and I’m just not.   I love visiting I’m an Organizing Junkie and seeing all the suggestions that Laura has to offer!  Hopefully I’ll pick up a couple of tips and trick along the way!

Money:

Yes, I Am Cheap is the awesome blog of a 30-something year old woman working her way out of debt.  Each month she does a debt check in and uses her readership to hold her accountable.  As a SAHM I’d like to get some personal savings each month from my budget so I have some pocket change to surprise hubby once in a while without having to tell him how much something costs.

Gadgets:

I am an official gadget junkie!  But I am smart with how I obtain them, as well as how I use them (waste not, want not).  But I do love reading about new technology when I can, and my favourite blog for all things tech is ZAGGblog.  Not only do I love, and personally use, their products, but they are an entertaining read on gadgets (why shouldn’t they be?  Their acronym is Zealous About Great Gadgets!)

Arts & Crafts:

Sewing by the Seat of My Pants is a sewing site focussing on all the things I wish I had the time to do, but just don’t.  Ah, to live vicariously through those more talented than I!

Fashion:

The Plus Size Fashion Blog is dedicated to all things plus size.  I’m not as plus size as I used to be in my early 20′s, but I still have issues finding stylish clothes in my size that look as good on me as on the hanger!  If you do to, this blog is for you!
