Flat Bread in the Pizelle Maker

Crackers, Flat Bread, Pizelle Maker, What's for Supper Sunday

For me, a Pizelle maker would be completely frivolous if I didn’t use it for other things.  I make a dutch cookie called a Kneipertje with it, and I use it to make beautiful flat bread!

What you’ll need:

3 cups flour

3 eggs

1 teaspoon salt

2 Tablespoons oil

1/2 cups milk

What you do with the stuff:

1.  Preheat your Pizelle maker.

2.  Combine flour and salt in one bowl and remaining ingredients in another.  Mix together.  Add enough extra milk to make as thin as pancake batter.

3.  Drop 2 Tablespoons into the middle of each Pizelle round.  Shut the lid and cook until done.

Enjoy!

Warmest regards,

{jp}

      A pizelle maker is for flat Italian cookies. Kinda like a mini waffle iron.

    What is a Pizelle Maker? It sure makes pretty flatbread. I bet you could make all kinds of neat things with something like that!

    I’ve never heard of a Pizelle maker & I have certainly never heard of Kneipertje, but I love flatbread, and I would say I’m going to try making it, because it looks so good, but honestly, I have a book-load of recipes that I’m gonna try…if only I liked to cook.
