I’ve been following the principles of the 80 Bites Diet for 6 weeks now, and I’m really enjoying the ease of fitting this into my lifestyle. No fancy foods, no counting calories one by one. I find at the 1/2 way mark, that I can pretty much eyeball how many bites I’m about to consume on my plate. I have learned to eat less, and to enjoy each and every bite.
I’m looking forward to delving into the next section – 3 weeks on quality. To me, the amount of food comes secondary to the quality of food. I think it is far healthier to be slightly overweight while eating natural things, than to be skinny on manufactured “food” stuff. I say “food”, because I have zero confidence in the ability of the governing bodies to really decide what is healthy to put in my body. Their track record leaves much to be desired!
What are your thoughts?
Warmest regards,
