And the Liebster Award Goes To…….

Many, many thanks to Tat at Mum in Search for giving me the Liebster Blog Award!  What do you mean you haven’t heard of it before?  Well, let me tell you a little bit about it.

Liebster is German for Darling, Sweetheart, etc.  Wait a minute! – THAT’S WHAT POPPET MEANS TOO!!!!!!  What’s truly awesome about this award, is that it is given by my peer.  Someone in the blogging community who thinks I have something to offer.   And coming from Tat it means a lot!  Take a moment and check out Mum in Search too!

All I have to do now is pay it forward.  The following is a list of 5 blogs that inspire me, that brighten my day, or just make me pause and think.  Congratulations!  You’ve won the Liebster Award!

#1:   Good Grief Guru - An intimate portrait of grief and single motherhood at a young age.

#4:  The Butterfly Mom – This is the ULTIMATE multi-tasking Momma!  Multiple blogs!  All great!

“What about The Butterfly Mom blog? I created this blog as the catch all for everything else. Crafting, parenting, reviews, home management, cooking and baking and everything else in between.

Where did I come up with The Butterfly Mom? Well I didn’t. My eldest did. We were out at a kid’s party and when another parent asked her who her Mommy was she answered, “the butterfly mommy” because of all the butterfly tattoos I have. Yes, I have tattoos. Several.”

#5:  Food Good, Laundry Bad – Evin is living the life I once did (city girl to country gal!)

“We recently moved from Austin, TX (a big, liberal city!) to a tiny town north of Austin with 1400 people. We live out in the country, more or less, and are surrounded by trees, cows, and bugs. Mostly bugs.

I love to cook and eat and am constantly learning what I can about food and different cuisines. I never met an ethnic cuisine I didn’t like, the spicier the better. Because we live so far out and I don’t drive, I’m often forced to get creative – I can’t zip down to the corner store for Thai basil or fresh mozzarella.”
