PostHeaderIcon Weightless Wednesday – Blogging is Bad for Your Health!

According to a new study, just released this morning, it has been determined that blogging is bad for your health!  The shocking truth that you heard here first!

This study, conducted over the last couple of months, is irrefutable, undeniable, concrete!  It was released by the biggest expert on this subject, ME!   I stepped on the scale, and decided it right then and there!  Another pound of “muscle” gained this week.  After watching what I eat, exercising regularly, and being better this week at all things health than I’ve been for a while, I was rewarded by that wonderful number rising yet again!  (No, I am NOT pregnant as someone asked me last week).

I have decided to embrace this scientific experiment and  start tracking inches as well as pounds.  I have had enough people ask if I’ve lost weight to warrant switching tactics.

And if you don’t believe me about blogging being bad for your health, check out this article by Tree Hugger.  They even refer to blogging as the modern day “sweatshop”!  Personally, I call it a labour of love, and like all good labours, this one includes seemingly endless months of weight gain!

On a side note,  if you represent a weight loss program, or local gym, I would welcome personal training, diet and nutrition consultations, or any health sponsorships in general!  In exchange I’ll blog about it for free!  One should counteract the other.

Warmest regards,

  • That is so interesting. I have had bronchitis for several weeks and not able to go work out and keep loosing wieght like I was. So I sit and work in the chair.
Here was my theory. My old daughter is a travel agent. When she started her first job the other gals in the office informed her that she would get ‘travel agent butt’. The tiny little thing did expand in her behind. I guess it is because they sit at the computer all day long and type. I saw this happen to trnscriptonists I know too.
So, You are right target and all of us bloggers shoud BEWARE of sitting too long in our COMPUTER CHAIR.
Thanks for the post Malika Bourne the NonNon-cnets Nanna

Well written Momma Poppet! I have found the same as you, so now I try to blog half the day standing. Too bad I can’t do it while doing jumping jacks. Hope someone takes you up on your personal training/blogger offer. I would love to read how they get us bloggers back in shape!
