Some jobs just beg to have a simpler way to complete. Â Why, when I have to wipe my counter, do I need to grab paper towel and a spray bottle. Â It may not sound like such an effort, but multiplied throughout the house when you just want to do a quick touch up (or even for the weekly cleaning schedule), it all adds up! Â I love the idea of the pre-moistened cleaning wipes that come in a bottle, but they all seem to badly streak, or they are filled with chemicals that I’m not willing to use in my home. Â I already make my own home-made Baby Wipes, so I decided to put the same idea to use as all natural, home-made pre-moistened cleaning wipes.
What you’ll need:
1 cup water
1 cup vinegar
15 drops essential oil of your choice
“select a size” style high quality paper towel (I use Bounty)
large freezer bags or other suitable storage container
What you do with the stuff:
1: Â Accordion the paper towels
2: Â Use kitchen shears to cut the pile in half
3: Â Place each half in a large freezer bag (or other storage container of choice), cut edge towards the opening
4: Â Mix together water, vinegar and essential oil
5: Â Pour over wipes and seal bag. Â Allow to sit for at least 15-30 minutes to evenly absorb the solution
6: Â Start cleaning!
Warmest regards,

Thanks so much for this great tip. I wondered do you think this would work with pkts of white paper napkins instead of kitchen towel?
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
I’m not sure if it would work or not. It would need to be a very thick and durable napkin. The paper towel I’ve found that works the best is Bounty as it doesn’t shred and fall apart when wet. Not sure a napkin would hold up to the same extent.
