New Blog Feature: Weightless Wednesdays

LilySlim Weight loss tickers

I don’t look that bad for a person who has just had a baby …….. a year ago!  Man!  Where did that year go?  Where did it all go awry?  I had visions of weight melting away with each passing day until I’d be like Heidi Klum and be supermodelesque by 4 weeks postpartum!

I used to work out every day.  When I started having complications near the beginning of my pregnancy I cut down to just walking.  No more running, weights, breathing, moving, etc, etc, etc.  In January it will be 2 years since I’ve been able to have a completely regular routine.  If you want to know how far I’ve fallen, I’ll share with you.

I’ve decided that I cannot possibly fit in a full 30-60 minutes in a day with a child who wants to get into everything!  Before this stage I was simply just too exhausted to deal with it.  I would rather fast for 24 hours at this point than work out for 24 minutes!

I’ve gone from someone who loves to jog, had a membership at the gym, and loved the “me” time, to the person I have come to accept today.  But it’s time to get healthy again!  So, even if it is  minutes a day, I am determined to get moving more, eat less, and hope between travel and exhaustion I’ll be able to make this work!

Every Wednesday I’ll be checking in to show my progress, to share what I’ve done as far as exercise and food choices for the previous week.  Why Wednesday?  At least it’ll give me a day or two to recover if I’ve really blown it on the week-end!  I’d like to lose 10-15 pounds.  So lets start with 10 and see where we end up!

If you’d  like to join me on the Weightless Wednesday Challenge just leave a comment and let me know!

Warmest regards,

{j}

    Count me in for 10-15. Ping me if I miss the “weigh-in.”
