My kids brought in a 5 gallon bucket about half full of water, containing a big rock, and a bunch of tadpoles. That wasn’t so bad until the tadpoles turned into little froggies, climbed up on the rock and jumped out of the bucket. Baby frogs were everywhere, and of course, some of them escaped, to die in places unseen, but definitely smelled. But that was better than the time my son brought a garden snake in a jar into the house….and opened the jar…

Sooo embarassing, but…….my 2.5 year old daughter, right in the middle of potty training her (and teaching her that we pick up ALL our messes), decided that her “deposit” left in her potty should go into the regular trash can…well, she dropped it onto my rug, half way to the trash can, realized that it should be cleaned up, stepped on it while running to get something to clean it with, tracked it along the rest of the rug, then decided to wash it up with RED GATORADE! What else could I do, once I found it, but to smile and thank her for remembering that we clean up OUR messes!!
dog feces has to be the worst! Yuck!
I’d have to say mud because I see mud tracks on my floor time and time again.
Mud… and my daughter once dropped a bottle of laundry detergent, which split open and got all over the walls and floor.
When my wife was pregnant with our son, her water broke all over our bedroom carpet! He is now six months old. When he was just a newborn, as I was changing him one day, he projectile poo’d/farted which made it across the bedroom! Sorry for the graphic details but no way to sugar coat that! :)
Gross! Thankfully Poppet never tried that one! :-)
Luckily no domestic animals nearby.
Mud is the worst mess.
I don’t have any children, but I know that when my brothers and I were little my mom would constantly tell us not to track in the outdoors-mud and all that good stuff-with our shoes!
